Last night, I screwed together the joists and planks for the cider press base. It still needs a little chamfering and sanding, but it&#039;s functional. (Also, it&#039;s lighter than I thought. I don&#039;t know why I was worried about it being too heavy.) I have the threaded rod, the 2x6 clamp pieces, and some beefy lag bolts for attaching to the frame. Ready for assembly tomorrow-- huzzah!</description>

		<description>we just pressed 70 gallons in my backyard in Cumberland.  this is our 4th year and the grinding is the slow process.  i would like to know what you used for a cutting drum on the bike grinder.
we have been using sausage grinders,  they work well but slow.
i worry that garbage disposals will burn out being run all day.
we have had a great time.</description>

A good specification for getting a leak proof seal in tapered fittings at high pressure is to use two wraps of teflon tape, tighten the fitting as hard as you can using your fingers and then turn it a minimum of two more full turns. If you exceed three turns it can start to leak again. This works for 10,000 psi oil and 6,000 psi hydrogen service pretty well.</description>

The foam adds a great deal of thermal mass to the gas side, reduces the temperature rise and prevents the heat of compression from leaking away quite as quickly.</description>

I saw on your positron cider site you attached a compresser to help cool the motor. Can you provide more specific info on that process as i have had trouble with my Kenmore 1hp disposer overheating.
